Rest in Peach is an excellent example of what a cozy mystery should be. I loved seeing Nola back in action and working toward her new goals. I enjoyed the fun and witty storyline as well as the great murder mystery that occurs in this story. The storylines are fresh and fun, they also show true southern flair at its finest. This story is a perfect for curling up in a chair while drinking a glass of sweet tea.  Nola is busy setting up her new storefront when she dragged away by her friend Ginny and her daughter Emily. Chaos breaks out when it's discovered only one debutante gown was ordered for two girls, and a bitter and heated argument between Ginny and Vivian Crenshaw is witnessed by everyone in the dress shop. So when Vivian is found the following day murdered the towns single minded sheriff is focused on Ginny's guilt. Can Nola and Ginny find the real killer before Ginny's life and the debutante ball is ruined or are things exactly as they seem.

Do you ever wonder about the one that got away? Is there that special person out there that no matter where you are or what is happening you can't help but think of them. For Victor Rueben and Nicole Alessi this is life. After a short fling Victor and Nicole part ways after realizing that want more is not what either is looking for so when Nicole becomes engaged to another man shortly after parting ways with Victor, he questions the way things were left between them. 

 

 So when Nicole's father comes to Victor about representing her in her divorce he is tossed into chaos. Can he  resist the woman who drives him wild and makes him question his own morals and be the professional lawyer that he's worked so hard to become. Can these two manage to keep it professional or will the sweet temptation be too much? Especially both  sexual innuendos flying between both parties. 

 

  Claire writes in a way you can feel the emotions of her characters. The story is real and gritty and Victor and Nicole are so full of sexual tension that I'm surprised the pages didn't combust. It's a story of growing up and changing and learning to let go and go after what you what in life before time passes you by.
